Overview
Support and maintenance of Ellucian Banner ERP system. Hybrid role – Must currently live in or near the Houston, TX, area.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring, cycling, and troubleshooting of ERP systems/applications based on requirements.
- Manage, maintain, and create ad-hoc queries and reports.
- Develop automation processes where necessary.
- Create new/maintain existing system integrations.
- Support ERP upgrades and patching.
- Accurately record, update, and document requests using the IT service desk system.
- Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures, objects (such as tables, indexes, triggers), and functions using PL/SQL.
- Create and maintain knowledge base articles.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Banner experience, including operation, administration, and/or software development.
- PL/SQL technical skills and strong analytical analysis.
- Banner Workflow, Blackboard / Banner interfacing.
- DegreeWorks preferred.
- eVisions preferred.
- Slate preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Full understanding of SDLC.
- Smart sheets / ServiceNow for project tracking.
- System Integration (e.g. Snaplogic, Boomi, or Mulesoft).
- Complex systems and procedures automation.
- SME in several professional disciplines. Requires the ability to create processes and procedures.
- Thought leader.
- Customer-facing experience, including the ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Excellent written/verbal communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in IT project management, time management, and problem-solving.
- Eligible to work for any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship at any time.
- Hybrid position – must currently reside in or near Houston, TX.
