Chief Human Resources Officer
Jason Parker has a passion and vision for Human Resources. He has more than 25 years of professional HR experience with various-sized companies in multiple industries. Jason is a hands-on, strategic and collaborative leader focused on delivering HR programs for company growth and success.
Jason began his career as a recruiter and recruiting manager in the staffing industry, and later transitioned to HR generalist roles where he found his passion for human resources. He quickly grew into leadership roles and found his niche with various companies building HR departments as the first HR professional hired. In the last 7 years, Jason was hired at Worksoft and Cenergistic as the top HR Executive to support the rapid growth or transformation both companies were experiencing. In October 2021, Jason was hired by Cyber Defense Labs to design and implement the talent acquisition strategy, resulting in a drastic reduction in cost-per-hire, time-to-fill, and stronger candidates overall.
As an HR leader, Jason has demonstrated a high degree of flexibility and adaptability while thriving in environments requiring him to be both tactical and strategic. He has built and managed HR teams ranging in size from 1-10 team members. He is highly adaptive to all work environments and industries, and is known for his collaborative leadership style, creative problem-solving abilities, and for building trust throughout an organization.
Jason has a Masters’ degree in Dispute Resolution and Conflict Management from Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University.
Jason and his wife live in Richardson, Texas. They have two adult children. In his spare time, Jason enjoys cycling, running, cooking, traveling and boating with his friends and family.
