The IT Director oversees the maintenance of all the IT infrastructure for the home office and all the branch locations, including computer hardware, networking, phone systems, printers/copiers, and e-fax systems.  The IT Director will oversee the Level 1 and Level 2 IT support teams.  The position reports to the SVP of IT Operations.  The onsite role that can later become a hybrid role (partial remote).


  • Responsible for ensuring the timely delivery and support of all computer hardware, including desktops, laptops, tablets, cell phones, printers, and copiers/scanners.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all locations have a functioning phone and e-fax systems.
  • Responsible for ensuring all locations’ internet access is adequate, stable, and secure.
  • Ensures the company website and email system are maintained and functioning from a technical perspective.
  • Maintains the SharePoint site and manages changes and users for a cloud-based environment.
  • Oversees the maintenance of a ticket tracking system to ensure all support needs are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Provides expertise in IT infrastructure to the organization and directs the delivery of all IT infrastructure projects.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains all staff in the IT department and provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.
  • Oversees the schedules and responsibilities of all IT staff members and ensures the team is appropriately staffed to fulfill the organization’s support needs.
  • Directs the management of IT contracts to ensure cost efficiency and service level expectations are achieved.
  • Works in collaboration with the Integration team to assess the needs of all new acquisitions and bring them up to par with other locations as quickly as possible.
  • Monitors and reports progress on projects, resource utilization, and production performance to executive leadership.
  • Facilitates preparation of project plans and proposals, outlining project objectives, IT requirements, and staffing requirements for proposed systems.
  • Works with the SVP of IT Operations to develop and track the IT strategic plan.
  • Prepares, implements, and executes approved IT budget.


  • Strong IT background on the infrastructure side (networking, systems, support, etc.)
  • 2+ years of official people management roles
  • Excellent communication and soft skills
  • Ability to create and implement processes and procedures
  • Able to travel approximately 10% as needed (primarily within Southern states)
  • Able to work for any U.S. employer without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • Currently local to the DFW area
